Prof. Marek Kuś has been appointed a member of the 10-person international Strategic Advisory Committee of the European Flagship on Quantum Technologies. The purpose of the Committee is to monitor the progress of the programme and to recommend actions to the European Commission aimed at its effective implementation. The Quantum Flagship is one of three such large-scale European initiatives with a 10-year budget of €1 billion. The programme aims to consolidate and further develop European scientific excellence in the area of quantum communications, quantum computing, modelling and measurement.
