Abstract

I will present updates from ongoing work modelling the impact of reionisation on the formationLocal Group of galaxies, focusing in particular on the effect on local satellites. To this end, we use high-resolution radiation hydrodynamical `zoom' simulations, together with initial conditions (produced through the Hestia project) designed to produce a realistic Milky Way/M31 pair, as well as faithfully reproducing the larger-scale environment.
